Publishing Electronic Conference Proceedings is a lengthy process  typically one to six months. The following is a simplified outline for the process. 

Note: The program manger will keep track of all papers submitted and coordinate it with the conference coordinator.  eDocPublish.com will scan hard copy documents using high-speed scanners. The 300 dpi images will then be converted to portable document format (PDF) files for inclusion on the CD-ROM. The documents will retain their original look and feel.  We also accept data in variety of electronic formats such as:

• Adobe Acrobat
• Word Perfect
• QuarkXPress
• Frame Maker
• Power Point
• AMI Pro
• Corel Draw

eDocPublish.com will create table of contents, index, and other submitted material. An electronic guide can be published to assist users with navigating the CD-ROM. The guide can include Hypertext links between Table of Contents and index. Bookmarks can be created for each section/Track.

The Acrobat Reader can be included on the CD-ROM. Acrobat supports Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 95/98, UNIX, and Macintosh. The CD-ROM produced is an ISO 9660 disc. The CD-ROM will have a 2 color (more colors are available for an additional charge) label silk screen on it. A fully functional prototype CD-R will be provided for review prior to mastering and replication. Additional copies are available for a nominal charge

The organizer provides eDocPublish.com with data about the conference such as:

• Logo in electronic form or paper
• Color preferences (PMS Colors)
• Session tracks, titles, & session descriptions
• Speaker names, speaker biographies, & paper titles
• Conference title and theme, massage, committee, board, pictures, awards, exhibitors & call for papers. Etc.

CD Preparation:

• Convert received data from speakers, and conference coordinator from electronic or printed format to PDF.
• Generate Menu and index
• Generate Bookmarks for Sessions, Papers and Abstracts
• Generate Hyperlink to every entry in the Table of Contents
• Generate Hyperlink to every entry in the index if available)

Input Data Type:

• Hard copy "camera ready" (printed). Color photographs or graphics are converted to PDF.
• We accept most commonly used electronic formats such as: Microsoft Word, RTF, Word Perfect, ASCII, Power point, Lotus 123, PageMaker, QuarkXPress, Frame Maker, PDF, JPEG, BMP, PostScript, TIFF, PCX, or GIF files.
• We accept data on 3.5-Inch floppy disks, tape cartridges, ZIP drive, Jaz Drive, CD-ROM, and CD-R.

Conversion Process:

• Hard copies are scanned and converted to Adobe� Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF files replicate the appearance of the original document on the users monitor and printer.
• Electronic files are converted to PDF
• Photos are Scanned

Email

• Speaker/authors can also submit their materials via Internet email to an email address.

Delivery:

• Standard Delivery is 4 weeks after delivery of artwork and final approval. 24 hour service is available.
